Bloomsday Celebrations

Each year on Bloomsday – 16th June – Dalkey Castle & Heritage Centre stage a celebration of James Joyce and his literary masterpiece, Ulysses. The celebrations focus on Joyce’s associations with Dalkey and begin with a dramatisation of the Nestor Episode, the Dalkey Schoolroom scene from Ulysses, followed by a guided Joycean Walk in Dalkey. A Joycean Evening with actors performing extracts from Ulysses, Dubliners, and A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man rounds off the day. Verso designs and produces a poster, invite and programme for the event.

“We have worked with Verso for over seven years now. We keep going back due to the quality of the work, the innovation of the design, the competitiveness of the pricing and the accommodating mindset of the design team. They will work through your brief with you and often surprise you with elements you never thought of. We have no hesitation in recommending Verso, as we continue to use their services ourselves”.
